Luis Fonsi is a Puerto Rican singer, songwriter, and actor. He was born on April 15, 1978, in San Juan, Puerto Rico. He rose to fame in the late 1990s with his debut album Comenzaré and has since released nine studio albums. Fonsi’s most successful single, “Despacito,” featuring Daddy Yankee, became a global hit in 2017. He has won multiple Latin Grammy Awards, Billboard Latin Music Awards, and other accolades throughout his career. Fonsi also appeared as a coach on The Voice Chile and The Voice Mexico. He is known for his romantic ballads, expert vocals, and catchy pop tunes. Fonsi is married with two children and remains one of the most popular Latin music artists of all time.
