"Can't We Just Sit Down (And Talk It Over)" is an R&B ballad originally written by Tony Macaulay but made famous by American singer Donna Summer. It was included on her 1977 album "I Remember Yesterday" and was released as a single in some countries. However, due to the popularity of the disco B-side, "I Feel Love", the song was placed on the A-side, making it a flagship song in the electronic dance music genre. Despite this, "Can't We Just Sit Down (And Talk It Over)" still managed to reach number 20 on the R&B chart.
