Fleetwood Mac - Short Biography

Fleetwood Mac is a British-American rock band formed in London in 1967. Its original members are guitarists and singers Peter Green and Jeremy Spencer, drummer Mick Fleetwood and bassist Bob Brunning. John McVie joined the band in time for their first album and Danny Kirwan became the third guitarist and singer in 1968. Christine Perfect joined the band in 1970, becoming known as Christine McVie.

Fleetwood Mac released the song "I Know I'm Not Wrong" from their 1979 double LP Tusk. The song was written by Lindsey Buckingham and recorded on September 19, 1979. It was the first and last song recorded for Tusk and took almost a year to complete. Buckingham's writing arrangements and the influence of punk rock and new wave were the driving forces behind this and other Tusk songs.
