🎶 Let’s Dance song analysis
The lyrics are encouraging the listener to dance and sway together, to take joy in the moment and savor the love they have for one another. They suggest putting on red shoes and dancing the blues, swaying in the moonlight and running away together if needed. The singer promises that if the listener falls into his arms and trembles like a flower, they will dance for fear that tonight is all that they have.
