Fleetwood Mac - Short Biography

Fleetwood Mac is a British-American rock band formed in London in 1967. Its original members are guitarists and singers Peter Green and Jeremy Spencer, drummer Mick Fleetwood and bassist Bob Brunning. John McVie joined the band in time for their first album and Danny Kirwan became the third guitarist and singer in 1968. Christine Perfect joined the band in 1970, becoming known as Christine McVie.

Fleetwood Mac released the song "Man of the World" in 1969. It was written by lead singer and guitarist Peter Green. The single was released around the time the band signed with Immediate Records, but the label collapsed soon after. As a result, "Man of the World" is the only Fleetwood Mac single to be released under Immediate Records.
