Fleetwood Mac - Short Biography

Fleetwood Mac is a British-American rock band formed in London in 1967. Its original members are guitarists and singers Peter Green and Jeremy Spencer, drummer Mick Fleetwood and bassist Bob Brunning. John McVie joined the band in time for their first album and Danny Kirwan became the third guitarist and singer in 1968. Christine Perfect joined the band in 1970, becoming known as Christine McVie.

Fleetwood Mac released the song "Sisters of the Moon" in 1979. Written and sung by band member Stevie Nicks, the single was released in the U.S. and peaked at #86 on the Billboard Hot 100. The song was not released in the UK, where "Not That Funny" was released as a single instead. The "single version" of "Sisters of the Moon" appears on the compilation album The Very Best of Fleetwood Mac and on the 2004 and 2015 remasterings of the album Tusk.
