Britney Spears, often referred to as the "Princess of Pop," is an American singer who influenced the teen pop revival of the late 1990s and early 2000s. At the age of fifteen, she signed with Jive Records and released her first two studio albums, ...Baby One More Time (1999) and Oops!..... I Did It Again (2000), which became two of the best-selling albums of all time. She then adopted a more mature and provocative style for her albums Britney (2001) and In the Zone (2003), and starred in the movie Crossroads (2002).

"Radar" is a song by American singer Britney Spears from her fifth studio album, Blackout (2007). It was written and produced by Bloodshy & Avant and The Clutch, with contributions from Henrik Jonback. The recording sessions took place the day after Spears filed for divorce from Kevin Federline. "Radar" was originally planned as the third single from Blackout, but "Break the Ice" was chosen instead. The song was then scheduled as the fourth single, but the release was cancelled because Spears had begun recording her sixth studio album, Circus (2008). "Radar" was then included as a bonus track on Circus, and released as the fourth and final single from the album on June 22, 2009.
