Tumbling Dice tells the story of a poker player who will do anything to win. The song is an example of the collaboration of Jagger and Richards, who wrote most of the Stones' songs together. Both musicians were influenced by the blues and rock and roll of the 1950s and 1960s, and Tumbling Dice is considered one of the band's best songs.
