"Stiff Necked Fools" is a song from "Confrontation", a posthumous album by Bob Marley & The Wailers, released in May 1983, two years after Marley's death. The album is composed of unreleased tracks and singles recorded during Marley's lifetime, including the famous track "Buffalo Soldier". Many of the tracks were compiled from demos, and the vocals of the I-Threes were added to "Jump Nyabinghi" to give the album a consistent sound. In addition, the vocal harmonies on "Blackman Redemption" and "Rastaman Live Up" were performed by the I-Threes rather than the Meditations to match the overall sound of the album.
