What is Tusk about?
🎶 Tusk song analysis
The song is about questioning the fidelity of a partner. The protagonist chooses to be wanted rather than cheated on and to be told that he is cherished. This is a counterpoint to the song "Little Lies" from Fleetwood Mac's album "Tango in the Night" (1987). It alludes to the relationship between Nicks and Buckingham, which deteriorates further when Buckingham discovers the Nicks-Fleetwood affair after one of their concerts.
